Fit-Out Construction Manager

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a highly skilled Fit-Out Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of fit-out works for prestigious commercial and residential projects. As part of our HO Projects Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all fit-out activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of fit-out construction activities for commercial and residential projects.
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of fit-out works.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions to address delays or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), safety standards (ISO 45001), and client-specific requirements.
• Review and approve technical drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to fit-out works.
• Manage on-site teams, providing clear direction and fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and risks.
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and project success.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in fit-out projects.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale commercial and residential fit-out works.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant safety standards (ISO 45001, NEBOSH).
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 giga-projects.
• Familiarity with LEED or Mostadam green building standards.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Working Conditions

• Based in Riyadh, with frequent site visits to active construction projects.
• Primarily site-based, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including high temperatures typical of the region.
• Standard working hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
• Regional travel may be required for project coordination and stakeholder meetings.
