About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a highly motivated Projects - Coordination Engineer to join our HO Projects Department in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. As a key member of our project management team, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure that project milestones are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Your day-to-day activities will involve monitoring project schedules, facilitating communication between teams, resolving coordination challenges, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and client requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Monitor project schedules and progress using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, identifying and addressing potential delays.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure clarity and alignment on project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), safety standards, and client-specific requirements such as ARAMCO Approved Vendor standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
- Support project managers in resource allocation, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address coordination challenges, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and change requests for accuracy and feasibility.
- Develop and implement project coordination workflows to enhance efficiency and communication.
- Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
- Knowledge of LEED or Mostadam green building standards.
- Previous experience on Saudi Vision 2030 mega-projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera Risk Analysis.
Working Conditions
- This role is office-based in Riyadh with regular site visits to project locations.
- May require occasional travel within Saudi Arabia to support regional projects.
- Standard working hours with flexibility for extended hours during critical project phases.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn during site visits.
- Exposure to construction site environments, including varying weather conditions.
