About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a seasoned Senior Administrative Officer to join our Logistics Department in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations that support some of the Kingdom’s most ambitious infrastructure and construction projects. As part of the Logistics team, you will play a critical role in managing administrative processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

In this position, you will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and external vendors to streamline logistics workflows. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all administrative functions within the Logistics Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi regulations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, project management, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive records of logistics activities, including inventory, shipping, and vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and other regulatory standards relevant to logistics operations.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure service quality.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance metrics to senior management.
  • Implement and optimize administrative processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
  • Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of logistics activities.
  • Train and mentor junior administrative staff within the department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics administration, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a proven ability to manage complex workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
  • Experience working on mega-projects in the GCC region.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives and their impact on the logistics sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions

  • This role is office-based in Riyadh, with occasional visits to project sites as required.
  • Standard working hours apply, with flexibility for extended hours during critical project phases.
  • Minimal travel within the Kingdom may be required to coordinate logistics operations.
