About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a PMV - Administrative Officer to join our Logistics Department in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) division, which supports some of the most ambitious construction and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom. As part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, you will manage administrative tasks, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by managing documentation, tracking equipment usage, and supporting procurement and maintenance activities. Your contributions will directly impact the success of BEC Arabia's projects, including those aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all administrative tasks related to the Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) division.
- Maintain and update records of equipment inventory, usage logs, and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and ensure timely procurement of spare parts and consumables.
- Monitor and track equipment availability and utilization to optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental standards.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Generate and analyze reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency.
- Support the PMV team in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely deployment and retrieval of equipment.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control activities for the PMV division.
- Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support for audits and inspections related to PMV operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory and procurement management.
- Strong understanding of logistics and fleet management processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and compliance requirements.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Familiarity with fleet management software.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Previous experience working with multinational teams.
Working Conditions
- This position is office-based in Khobar, with occasional visits to project sites as required.
- Standard working hours with potential for extended hours during project deadlines.
