About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a Light Vehicles Driver to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless transportation of personnel, documents, and materials across our diverse construction and infrastructure projects. As a key member of the logistics team, you will support operations that span government mega-projects, commercial developments, and industrial facilities, contributing directly to the success of our projects and client satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and passengers while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. You will also play a critical role in maintaining the operational readiness of assigned vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for daily use. Key Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles to transport personnel, documents, and materials safely and efficiently across project sites and offices.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during vehicle operation.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned vehicles, including checking oil, fuel, tires, and brakes, to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of vehicles by scheduling regular maintenance and reporting any issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials or equipment as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to plan and execute transportation schedules effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and stakeholders, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
• Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the relevant supervisor.
• Support emergency transportation needs as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Saudi Arabian driving license for light vehicles.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and road networks in Khobar and surrounding regions.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems or GPS navigation tools.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.

Working Conditions

• This role is field-based, with frequent travel between project sites, offices, and client locations in Khobar and surrounding areas.
• Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.
• Exposure to outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when visiting construction sites.
• Adherence to strict safety and operational protocols is mandatory.
