About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled PMV - Maintenance Foreman to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles that are essential to the success of our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with a team of technicians and operators, you will ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

As a PMV - Maintenance Foreman, you will play a critical role in optimizing equipment uptime and minimizing operational disruptions. You will manage day-to-day maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate with procurement for spare parts and tools. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance and repair operations for a fleet of heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align maintenance schedules with project timelines.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Report on maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, repair turnaround times, and cost efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools for maintenance tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in NEBOSH or other safety management programs.
  • Experience with ARAMCO-approved vendor standards.
  • Familiarity with digital maintenance platforms and IoT-based equipment monitoring.
  • Previous experience in mega-projects or large-scale construction environments.
  • Advanced training in hydraulic systems or engine diagnostics.

Working Conditions

  • Based in Khobar, with frequent visits to construction sites and equipment yards.
  • Work environment includes outdoor settings, exposure to varying weather conditions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Standard working hours with occasional overtime or weekend shifts as project demands.
  • Regional travel may be required to support equipment at remote project sites.
