BEC Arabia is seeking a Senior Structural Coordinator to join our Technical Department in Riyadh. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and compliance of our large-scale construction projects, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives. This position is integral to the successful delivery of some of the Kingdom's most ambitious infrastructure and commercial developments.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between design consultants, project managers, and on-site teams to ensure seamless coordination of structural designs and their implementation. You will oversee technical reviews, resolve design conflicts, and ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant standards. With a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects that define the future of Saudi Arabia's built environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of structural designs across multiple stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Review and validate structural drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and project requirements.
- Ensure alignment of structural designs with architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans.
- Monitor and manage the resolution of design conflicts and technical issues during the construction phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify the implementation of structural designs and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of structural deliverables within budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of structural coordination processes and decisions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, in all structural coordination activities.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and certifications for structural designs.
- Support the adoption of digital construction tools, such as BIM, to enhance coordination and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural coordination within the construction industry.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools for structural design and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards such as ACI and BS EN.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with safety standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Experience with NEOM, Red Sea Global, or other Saudi giga-projects.
- Expertise in advanced structural analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000.
- Knowledge of green building standards like LEED or Mostadam.
Working Conditions
- Based in Riyadh, with occasional travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia.
- Primarily office-based with regular site visits requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with exposure to large-scale construction activities.
- Working hours may extend during critical project phases.
