Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, SBC, and international standards.
• Lead technical evaluations of electrical designs, materials, and equipment to ensure alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including ISO 45001, and promote a safety-first culture on all projects.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to address technical queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of electrical engineering milestones.
• Develop and implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions aligned with green building standards such as LEED and Mostadam.
• Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and integrate innovative solutions into project designs.
• Support the procurement process by evaluating technical bids and recommending suitable vendors and suppliers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in power distribution systems, lighting systems, and low-current systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Revit MEP.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), ARAMCO standards, and NEC.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 45001 and NEBOSH.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in LEED AP, Mostadam, or other green building standards.
• Experience with smart city projects or digital construction technologies.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 mega-projects.

Working Conditions

• Based in Riyadh, with occasional travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia.
• Primarily office-based with regular site visits requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to construction site environments, including outdoor conditions and high temperatures.
• Standard working hours with potential for extended hours during critical project phases.
