About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a meticulous and organized Time Keeper to join our Human Resources team in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate time tracking and attendance management for our diverse workforce engaged in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. As a Time Keeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with Saudi Labor Law and supporting the smooth execution of our operations.
You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and HR personnel to monitor employee attendance, manage shift schedules, and generate detailed reports. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily attendance and time records for all site-based and office-based employees.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law regulations regarding working hours, overtime, and leave.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee attendance, absences, and tardiness.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to verify attendance data and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate detailed time and attendance reports for payroll processing and management review.
- Assist in the preparation of employee shift schedules and ensure proper coverage for all operational needs.
- Verify and process overtime requests in alignment with company policies.
- Support HR and project teams in managing workforce allocation and productivity tracking.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding attendance policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any irregularities or non-compliance issues to HR management.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Utilize timekeeping software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in timekeeping, attendance management, or a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software and tools such as Kronos, TSheets, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a construction or infrastructure project environment.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and integration with timekeeping tools.
- Certification in HR or workforce management (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Knowledge of Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives and their impact on workforce management.
- Prior experience in a multi-national workforce environment.
Working Conditions
- Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to construction sites.
- Schedule: Full-time, standard working hours with potential overtime during peak project phases.
- Travel: Minimal travel required within the Riyadh region.
