QAQC - Project Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 to 10 years of experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Certified as a quality management system lead auditor ISO 9001 for conducting internal/external audits based on ISO 19011.
- Ability to establish all method statements and procedures from project takeover to handover documentation with the client.
- Capable of establishing key performance indicators, analyzing causes of deviation, and reporting them.
- Able to review technical submissions to ensure they meet all contractual requirements and review contracts related to QA/QC activities.
- Familiar with universal standards such as ASTM, ACI, etc.
- Ability to establish project quality plans based on contractual requirements and ISO 10005.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to follow up, plan work, and make decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Inform the quality team and construction team before starting each new activity.
- Attend meetings to present the department on all occasions and when requested.
- Regularly follow up with the quality and construction teams to track the progress of quality activities.
- Review issued construction plans to address related quality concerns.
- Ensure that work is inspected up to date.
- Hold daily meetings with the team to review inspection status, analyze causes of rejections, and take necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure that all completed work is inspected, documented, and archived.
- Establish a control methodology for work inspection, combining delivery status, construction of project components, and approved inspection documentation.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and establish a responsibility matrix to analyze and address corrective actions, study root causes, and reflect them in the quality plan.
- Prevent any passive effects on the company's quality policy and objectives.
- Follow up on interim payment certificates to identify any gaps in inspections, if any.
- Establish and follow up on procedures for testing and commissioning.
