Civil Construction Manager
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree of Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experiences in construction field, minimum 3 years in related field
- Very good command in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT, Primavera.
- Familiar management and delegation capabilities.
- Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills.
- Possess leadership skills to lead a group of individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
- Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s requirements are efficiently met.
- Review projects progress on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
- Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the customer’s requirements.
- Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
- Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
